Privacy Policy
What we collect
The information you enter for your baby — name, birthdate, feeding approach, foods tried, reactions, and notes — is provided voluntarily by you, the parent or caregiver. We also process basic purchase information (which plan you bought) to unlock Sprout Plus; Apple handles your payment details directly and Sprout never sees your card number.
Where your data lives
Your baby's data is stored on your device and, if iCloud is signed in, synced through your own private iCloud account so it's available on your other devices. We do not operate a Sprout server that stores your baby's data — we simply can't read it, because it never passes through infrastructure we control.
What we don't do
No ads, ever. No selling, renting, or sharing your baby's data with advertisers or data brokers. No tracking across other apps or websites.
Notifications
Allergen and daily-log reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We don't operate a push-notification server, so no notification content is sent to or through us.
Children's privacy
Sprout is designed for use by adults — parents and caregivers — to track a child's feeding. It isn't directed at children, doesn't let a child create an account, and doesn't knowingly collect information directly from a child.
Your choices
Deleting a baby profile or the app removes that data from your device. If you use iCloud sync, you can also remove it from iCloud through your device's iCloud settings. There's no separate Sprout account to delete, because there's no separate Sprout account.
